SPORTING INFORMATION

Will I still be able to play sports?
football The short answer is YES, but if your seizures are unpredictable it is as well to have someone with you when doing a sport where you could hurt yourself.
For example: swimming. Do not swim alone and inform the lifeguard that sometimes you suffer from seizures. swimming
bike Cycling and Horse Riding
Avoid riding on busy roads and ALWAYS wear a protective helmet. Think very carefully before taking part in any dangerous sports such as climbing where you could hurt yourself and others if you where to have a seizure. Unfortunately you may find yourself barred from certain sports such as parachuting, scuba diving or motorcycle racing, but don't be put off, there are plenty of other activities available.

NEVER FEEL YOU CANNOT DO SPORTS! YOU CAN, AND IT'S GOOD FOR YOU.
