DRIVING

Can I still drive?

If you have seizures whilst you are awake you will not be allowed to drive any vehicle on a public road until you have gone one year without a seizure. Then you can reapply for a licence, but there is no guarantee you will be successful at first. If you only have seizures in your sleep you may still be able to drive. Anyone who has had seizures since the age of 5 will never be able to obtain a HGV licence or public transport licence.
